Ronaldinho remembers the history of the prison and the story of the 16-kilogram pig won at the tournament!
2002 World Champion, Golden Ball winner, great football player, football history, arrested for fake passports at Paraguay border in 2020. He was released after paying fine of 1.3 million after serving a 5-month. Also with Ronaldinho was his brother Roberto de Asis Moreira.
The fact that happened during his stay in prison is interesting and fun.
Ronaldinho remembers the story:
“I was not giving up my favorite work even in prison. I did not think that I would make so many friends in prison.”
“One day, the prison authorities suggested to hold a football tournament and asked me to participate, which I agreed to do. To tell the truth, we didn’t even talk about the prize and I didn’t expect any prize at all. The tournament ended with the victory of my team, and a 16-kilogram piglet was given to us as a prize!”
In the decisive match, Ronaldinho’s team won 11:2, from which Ronaldinho scored 5 goals and got 6 assists.
He says that this is the most funny and interesting month in his life.
