Charlize Theron is considered one of the most outstanding actresses of our time. People love her not only for her special roles and professionalism but also for the difficult path she took to success.
Charlize was born in South Africa and spent much of her childhood on a farm. Her father was an alcoholic and abused family member. During one such confrontation, Theron’s mother shot and killed her husband.
She had a lot of difficulties on her way, but now she is a highly-paid actress and is telling us about her lifestyle and relationships:
“My concept in life is that if you don’t use something, you should let someone else use it.”
“You should find mentors. There are many people in my life whom I met when I was 19, had a South African accent, messy hair, and couldn’t understand some things, but they believed in me and gave me motivation.”
Charlize Theron talked about motherhood:
“I want my son to grow up with a mother who looked at life from different sides and had many mistakes, shortcomings, and failures. I really want him to look at me one day and say, ‘My mom lived the real life. It was life.'”
“I’m not a romantic by nature, and I never expect too much from relationships. But I’m pretty uncompromising. I never stay in a relationship with people who cheated on me.”
“I have friends from Iran, Sri Lanka, and Bosnia. I want my children to grow up freely and to know what is happening in other countries and cultures, and have their own personalities.”
