Scarlett Johansson recently posed for InStyle magazine. In an interview, she talked about fame, personal boundaries, and why she avoids social media.
The “Avengers” star does not have any social media accounts. Instead, she prefers to keep her personal life private and protect her family from public attention.

For the magazine cover, Scarlett wore a chocolate-colored Prada coat and a leather bodysuit. Additionally, she appeared in a beaded knitted dress by Gabriela Hearst. Other outfits included a burgundy Saint Laurent suit, Van Cleef jewelry, and a dramatic Burberry look with a feather collar.
Overcoming Career Fears
Despite her success, Johansson admitted she once feared losing her career. However, over time, she has become more confident and values her privacy even more. “I realized I have created something valuable, and that helped me become more independent,” she said.
Protecting Her Children’s Privacy
As a mother of two, she works hard to keep her children out of the spotlight. In fact, she believes that “their anonymity is priceless.” She wants her kids to decide for themselves if they want public lives. “At first, fame seems fun. But then you see how much you lose. That is why I want to protect their freedom as long as possible,” she explained.
Setting Boundaries with Fans
Furthermore, Johansson also explained why she avoids taking random photos with fans. “I always say, ‘I’m not at work right now.’ That doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate them,” she said. She enjoys meeting fans at events but believes in setting boundaries. After all, “there should be time to just be yourself.”
Why She Stays Away from Social Media
As for social media, she feels it does not match her values. In fact, she admitted, “I even talked to a therapist about it. I thought about trying it, but it’s not for me.”
Scarlett is married to comedian Colin Jost. Together, they have a son, Cosmo, and a daughter, Rose. Since the couple keeps a low profile, their Oscars appearance this year caught extra attention from paparazzi.
