38-year-old actress Keira Knightley and 39-year-old British rock musician James Righton have been together for 10 years. They have two daughters – 7-year-old Edie and 3-year-old Delilah, and, as the actress says, they have a great time together.
Keira Knightley has been in fewer movies since marrying James Righton in 2013. After having her daughters, she decided to focus on her family.
“I simply could not shoot in different cities and countries because it would be unfair to my children. I did not want to,” the 39-year-old actress told The Times. “I decided to have children myself. And I want to take care of their upbringing myself.”
She also said she would never return to big franchises like Pirates of the Caribbean. These movies require long filming schedules in different places, and she does not want to be away from her family for so long.
Keira and James have been married for 11 years. Their secret? “We often annoy each other, but hell, we also make each other laugh a lot,” Keira said.
James was in the band The Klaxons, but after they broke up in 2015, he started writing music for films and TV. Keira says their personalities balance each other. She dislikes noisy parties, but James is an extrovert and loves social events.
“My husband believes having a good time is his right, and he will do it anywhere,” Keira shared. “Unless I get drunk, which is rare, such events are very tiring for me.”
